Theme: Digital Art and Painting

Starting with the basics of digital painting, campers will quickly advance to explore complex textures, lighting effects, and color theory. Campers will also learn new dynamic brush techniques, layer manipulation, and blending modes. This camp session brings the tradition of painting to the endless possibilities of the digital world!

Campers also receive behind-the-scenes access to exhibitions, experiment with the artistic process, and show off their own work in a student exhibition. SJMA’s teaching artists offer in-depth art experiences inspired by current exhibitions. Teens learn how to look at, talk about, and create art in a collaborative and creative environment! 

Each week-long camp is offered Monday through Friday, 9am–3pm.

Registration is $500 ($450 for members at the Dual/Family level and above) and opens to members on Thursday, February 8, 2024. General registration begins Thursday, Feb 15, 2024.
