Community Day

SJMA's free open house Community Days include live entertainment and hands-on activities for all ages.

Gallery Talk

To personalize the Museum experience and connect the public to our behind-the-scenes team and our knowledgeable docents, SJMA offers guided talks for every exhibition. Curators (with occasional special guests) discuss the major themes of an exhibition, share interesting anecdotes about the artworks and artists, and answer visitors' questions. SJMA docents lead an interactive viewing discussion of two works of art from the current exhibitions.

First Fridays

These late nights offer free admission to all exhibitions and programs from 6–9pm. Featuring access to art, a cash bar, food, and more.
