Admission Tickets

Admission tickets are redeemable anytime on Thursday 4–9pm, Friday 11am–9pm, and Saturday through Sunday, 11am–6pm.
Admission includes all museum galleries, special exhibitions during regular hours, and select public programs.
Public programs and special events with an additional fee are not included.

Free Admission Tickets

SJMA is pleased to offer free individual admission for youth 17 and under, college students and teachers with valid ID.

Bringing a group of 10 or more?

Any group of 10 or more is considered a Group Tour. Please email us to schedule an appointment at education@sjmusart.org.

After Hours

Offered once a month on Thursdays or Fridays, SJMA’s after-hours programs provide unique opportunities to engage with art, explore culture, and create connections with the community.

To personalize the Museum experience and connect the public to our knowledgeable staff, SJMA offers guided talks for every exhibition. Gallery talks include discussions on major themes of an exhibition, interesting anecdotes about artists and work on view, and answer visitors' questions.

Creative Minds

Creative Minds—SJMA’s premier Artist Talk series—allows audiences a chance to experience creatives in action by hearing directly from artists about their process and practice.

First Fridays

These late nights offer free admission to the Museum from 6–9pm with open galleries and live entertainment. The Museum Store is also open, and stop by El Cafecito by Mezcal for late-night bites and a cash bar.

Museums on Us

All visitors who present an active Bank of America®, Merrill® or Bank of America Private Bank® branded debit or credit card, physical or electronic/digital, with a valid photo ID shall receive one free general admission to the Museum on the first full weekend of each month. Cardholder is required to present their ticket, active credit or debit card, and photo ID upon arrival. Additional guests are required to purchase tickets separately.
