Legacy.Legado: A Poetry and Storytelling Lounge in Honor of Women's History

Join us at the San José Museum of Art for Legacy.Legado, an intimate evening of poetry, storytelling, and community in celebration of Women’s History. Hosted in partnership with ChALE and EASTSIDE Magazine, the evening brings together poets and storytellers, alongside five inspiring women from Somos Mayfair, whose voices reflect the strength and wisdom of East San José.

Through poetry, testimony, and personal narrative, these women share stories rooted in culture, memory, and resilience—reminding us that storytelling is how communities remember, heal, and imagine new futures.
