Day in the Life of a Docent

Share your passion for art by volunteering for SJMA! Whether you wish to give gallery tours or can’t wait to inspire kids with art in Bay Area classrooms, we have a volunteer opportunity and training for you. SJMA’s volunteers play a significant role in the life of the Museum.

At Day in the Life of a Docent, participate in a fun interactive portfolio presentation with a representative from our award-winning Let's Look at Art program, or join our in-house Docent for a Spotlight Tour of Evergreen: Art from the Collection. Museum staff and volunteers will answer questions about the many ways you can support the Museum’s programs.
